Will Donald Trump pardon Sean 'Diddy' Combs if the rapper is convicted? Suge Knight, ex-CEO of Death Row Records, suggests the President will
As Sean "Diddy" Combs faces serious federal charges, Suge Knight has made a bold prediction.

Speaking on NewsNation, Knight suggested that Diddy's influence and possible government connections could benefit him. He even compared the scenario to Trump's previous clemency of music executive Michael Harris.

Why does Suge Knight believe Diddy won’t be convicted?

Former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight said Tuesday that if rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs is found guilty in his pending federal trafficking and racketeering trial, President Trump might pardon the rapper, as quoted in a report by The Hill.

When Knight called into NewsNation's "CUOMO" on Tuesday night, he stated, "I still feel that Puffy's going to be all right and have a fair shot at it, because Puffy didn't, he's not a dummy."

He said to host Chris Cuomo that he is pretty certain someone will speak to those jurors and persuade one or two of them. "So, it will be a really exciting situation at the end of the day, but I think he will be okay," as per a report by The Hill.

In light of the possibility of jury tampering, Cuomo asked Knight, who is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence in California for voluntary manslaughter, if he believes Combs will be "all right".

The rapper, according to the 60-year-old, has "influence", and it doesn't "seem like the prosecution is that bad against him."

Suge Knight believes that Diddy received some government favours. He believes that they will give him some wiggle room. He doesn't believe he had anything to be concerned about. Knight asserted that President Donald Trump will pardon him if he is found guilty, as per the report.

Could Donald Trump really pardon Diddy?

Chris Cuomo asked Knight if he thought Trump would forgive Combs "for trafficking". Knight responded that President Trump pardoned Michael Harris," a reference to the music executive who was a founding member of Godfather Entertainment, the parent company of Death Row Records.

"That doesn't matter to them. It all comes down to what's in it for the long haul," he continued.

After serving 33 years in prison on drug-related charges, Harris was granted clemency in 2021. Later, the music executive supported Trump's presidential campaign in 2024, as per a report by The Hill.
