‘Not to please Trump’: Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum claims 40% drop in fentanyl trafficking
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum says fentanyl trafficking to the US has dropped nearly 40% since President Trump took office. She cited preliminary US Customs and Border Protection data and stressed that Mexico is actively seizing the drug before it reaches the border.
