‘Unreasonable’: After Rubio’s student visa revocation announcement, China slams US, lodges protest
China has firmly rejected the U.S. decision to revoke visas of Chinese students, calling it ‘unreasonable’ and ideologically driven. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said Beijing has lodged strong protests with Washington. This follows Secretary of State Marco Rubio's announcement to tighten visa rules, citing national security and CCP ties.
