'Until I meet Putin…': Trump drops bombshell on Russia-Ukraine peace talks

US President Donald Trump has stated that no real progress will be made in resolving the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict until he holds direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. His remarks come amid growing scepticism over the peace negotiations planned in Turkey. “Nothing’s going to happen until Putin and I get together,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One en route to the United Arab Emirates. “And obviously he (Putin) wasn’t going to go (to Turkey). He was going to go, but he thought I was going to go. He wasn’t going if I wasn’t there.”
