
As of now, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has not officially released the individual toppers list for the Tamil Nadu HSE (+1) Class 11 Results 2025. However, the overall performance statistics have been made public.
This year, approximately 8.07 lakh students appeared for the exam, out of which 7,43,232 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 92.09%. Sivagangai district emerged as the top performer with the highest pass rate of 98.31%.
How to Check Your TN 11th Result 2025
Step 1: Visit the official result portal: tnresults.nic.inStep 2: Click on the link titled “HSE(+1) March 2025 Results”.
Step 3: Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format).
Step 4: Click on “Get Marks” to view your result.
Step 5: Download and print your provisional marksheet for future reference.
How to Check Tamil Nadu Class 11th Result via SMS
Step 1: Open the messaging app on your mobile phone.Step 2: Create a new message and type: TNBOARD11, followed by your date of birth and registration number.
Step 3: Send this message to 9282232585.
Step 4: Shortly after, you will receive your result as a reply on your mobile number.
Tamil Nadu Class 11 Result: Minimum Passing Marks
To pass the Tamil Nadu Class 11 exams, students need to score a minimum of 35 out of 100 marks in each subject. In theory papers with a total of 70 marks, students are required to achieve the qualifying score. However, there is reportedly no minimum mark required to pass the practical exams.Students who are not satisfied with their results may apply for revaluation through their schools.
