Nitish Kumar Pandey, accused of rape, escaped from Neemka Jail in Faridabad. He impersonated another inmate, Nitesh, who had a similar name. Jail officials failed to notice the discrepancies in their identities. The real Nitesh was later released. Two jail staff members have been suspended. Police are searching for Nitish in Patna.
