PM Modi to unravel world's tallest rail bridge on Chenab, flag off train from Kashmir to Kanyakumari
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the world’s tallest railway bridge—the Chenab Bridge—on June 6 in Jammu and Kashmir. This marvel of engineering stands 359 metres above the Chenab River, higher than the Eiffel Tower. It’s part of the USBRL project, linking Kashmir to the rest of India. The PM will also flag off the first Vande Bharat train from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, activating a continuous rail route from north to south India.
